These are fully mature hives that are ready to start producing honey. Included in each mature hive is:

Mature hives are evaluated in late winter to early spring to ensure they are healthy and productive. Queens are selected for tolerance to mites and diseases, gentle disposition, longevity, and excellent brood and honey production. The bees are evaluated several times and are removed from sale if they fail to meet our quality standards. We take great measure to sell you only a top quality hive.
All of our hives are inspected for mites and other diseases by the State of Ga as we are a licensed Apiary.
